I think we are all handling this time we’re in a little differently. I’ve talked to a lot of my peers that travel often and one thing keeps coming up – we’re itching to travel. There’s something about being told you CAN’T do something that just makes you really want to do that thing – am I right?!
Travel is no different.
For the time being, we’re all doing our best to socially distance ourselves to prevent even more spreading of Covid-19. If you happen to be reading this in the distant future, maybe social distancing is over, but you just don’t want to leave your couch today. EITHER WAY, this is for you!
Some of the most famous museums, parks, zoos, and monuments have virtual tours that you can take online without ever leaving your home. There are a TON out there and I have compiled a list of the ones I think are worth taking.
Don’t worry about packing your bags or saving up for this trip. Don’t even worry about putting on a pair of pants. Just get ready to tour some amazing sites by clicking any of the links below!

I love the idea of taking virtual tours while we are staying home for now! I’ve toured at least one of these each day and it’s helped me feel a little less cooped up. I’ve even toured places I’ve been to in real life like the Colosseum and Vatican Museum in Italy (more about that here) and it brought me back to so many great memories that instantly put me in a good mood.
If you want, you can plan these tours out like you would an actual trip and maybe choose one country per week to dive into. OR you can get crazy and jump from Italy to China to Peru in a single day – that’s the beauty of virtual tours!
One more idea – use this as an at-home date night! You can find nine more unique date night ideas right over here.
Let me know which ones you take and what you think in the comments. We are living in such a technologically advanced time – take advantage of it!
